Out of all window framing materials, uPVC has by far the least effect on the environment.
Very little energy is used to produce uPVC window frames and these can be recycled into new uPVC window frames up to 6 times before retiring to indoor use and being recycled into other useful items.
Easy windows PVC window frames last a lifetime and the hardware we use has a lifespan of about 30 years with technological advances improving this figure all the time. This means that, with minimal maintenance (general cleaning and wiping, and oiling of hardware), our windows will outlast both aluminium and timber window frames by far.
We use a “tropical” variation of extremely high quality German uPVC profiles so as to accommodate for the strong Australian UV radiation, and, in coastal environments, we use highly salt resistant hardware.
